Welcome to the Order of the First Scottish War of Independence, 1296-1320.
We are an American Lineage Society that welcomes into membership the living descendants of those men who fought in the many battles, skirmishes, and sieges that comprised that first war. Explore our website further to learn about those battles, some of the known participants, membership eligibility, our application, and more.
Our organization allows for membership via an ancestor who fought on either side of the War – the Scottish or the English – and also via an ancestor who signed the Declaration of Arbroath in 1320.
